Mad Dog LAX Programs - Girls 9th to 12thFall
The Mad Dog Girls fall lacrosse team is includes 9th-12th grade players. The team practices two days a week at the Shenendehowa practice fields and participates in 3 competitive travel tournaments. The program runs from mid-September to mid-November. Tournament selection is based on the level and experience of the players on the team.
Winter
The Mad Winter skill & drills program for 9-12th graders is held at the Sportsplex of Halfmoon on Tuesday nights from mid-November to mid-March. Each session includes drills that teach and reinforce the fundamentals of lacrosse. The program is designed to help players improve their stick skills , reinforce lacrosse strategies and prepare for Spring tryouts.
The Mad Dog winter indoor travel program take teams to several indoor tournaments. Participation in the winter skills/drills program is required . Teams are entered in both the JV and Varsity divisions depending on enrollment
Summer
Mad Dog has a summer travel team for 9-12th grade players. Two practices a week at Shenendehowa and 3 travel tournaments are included. The summer travel season begins in late June and ends in mid-July. Tournament selection is based on the level and experience of the players on the team.
